Working Principle
The device operates on a thermal measurement principle. Its sealed probe contains two resistors:
Heated resistor: Serves as the sensing element.
Reference resistor: Maintains ambient temperature.
When fluid flows, heat dissipation from the heated resistor alters its resistance value. The differential resistance between the two resistors determines the flow velocity.
Key Features
Maintenance-free: No moving parts.
Universal installation: Single model accommodates multiple pipe diameters.
Low pressure loss.
Integrated functions:
Color LCD displays flow trend and switch status.
Built-in temperature measurement with alarm and remote monitoring capabilities.
Applications
Media compatibility: Liquids (water, oil), gases, and gas-liquid mixtures.
Typical uses:
Low-flow alarms.
Pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Coolant/lubricant flow monitoring.
Pump dry-run protection.
