Product Overview‌

The high-precision micro flow gear flow meter, classified as a positive displacement (volumetric) flow meter, is designed for ultra-low liquid flow measurement with detection capability as low as ‌0.5 mL/min‌ while maintaining accuracy up to ‌±0.5% FS‌.

Technical Parameters‌

Accuracy‌: ±0.5% or ±0.2%

Fluid Viscosity Range‌: 2–200 mPa·s (customizable for higher viscosity)

Fluid Temperature Range‌:

Standard: -20°C to +80°C

With heat sink: Up to 200°C

Operating Pressure‌:

Cast iron/stainless steel: 1.6 MPa

Cast steel: 2.5 MPa or 6.4 MPa (customizable for higher pressure)

Materials‌: Cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel

Output Signals (Remote/Intelligent Digital Display Models)‌:

Power supply: 24V DC

Pulse or 4–20mA output

Explosion-Proof Rating‌: ExiaIICT5

Optional Features‌: Insulated jacket

Operating Principle‌

The meter consists of a pair of elliptical gears housed in a measurement chamber. Fluid entering the meter creates a pressure differential, driving the gears to rotate. Each rotation displaces a fixed volume of fluid (crescent-shaped cavity), with total flow calculated as the product of rotations and displacement volume.

Key Features‌

High accuracy‌ unaffected by fluid viscosity, density, or Reynolds number.

Unsuitable for solids-containing fluids‌ (risk of gear jamming) or gases (measurement error).

Higher viscosity fluids‌ exhibit lower leakage errors, enhancing measurement reliability.

Design Specifications‌

Sealed measurement unit‌: Formed by gears and housing with crescent-shaped cavities.

Pressure-driven operation‌: No external power required for mechanical models.
